The highest d-man on the list, Brett Clark, is tied for 9th, and this is probably accurate in how the defense has been playing this season. Very up-and-down, with Clark being our best guy.

Out of the top three, there aren't many surprises, except for Ian Laperriere and Peter Budaj being tied for that spot. As shown by the Avs losing streak, Lappy does make a difference. When it comes to goaltenders, they clearly have an advantage when they win a game at getting a first or second star vote.

Joe Sakic behind Jose Theodore? Blame the nine games Sakic has missed in the last month.

Most points since the 10-game update? Try Paul Stastny's 16-point jump. It's one point more than Milan Hejduk's 15-point jump.

Fewest points since the 10-game update? Tyler Weinman earned the third star (1 point) in an early season game. He hasn't seen any action since. (0 points)

Most Likely to Ovetake Stastny: Milan Hejduk
Most Likely to Rise: Joe Sakic
Most Likely to Fall: Ian Laperierre

Hope you enjoyed the update!
