I don't get to go to Avalanche games often (especially not since the lockout), so I'm pretty psyched because this is the first time ever I'll be seeing them twice in one season. Ironically, it's also the only season I've ever seen the Avs without Sakic in uniform.
Oh well.

Well the Rangers have been playing... um... interestingly lately so maybe the Avs can pull out a victory
Are Avalanche fans even rooting for victories at this point?
I hope not... or you're sitting at the game extremely disappointed right now.
A Rangers fan asked me just before the game started what I thought New York's chances were of winning the game.
I told him that if the Avs didn't get scored on in the first five minutes, they should consider it a success.
30 seconds later...well...yeah.
Fun final two minutes though.
