It's obviously a ridiculously small sample size, but Anderson (after signing a 4-year, 12.75 million dollar deal in the offseason) is 1-2 on the year with an .867 SV% and a 4.36 GAA. He was yanked after forty minutes against the Maple Leafs last Friday, and he has yet to let up fewer than three goals this season.
Of course, all of this combined with the dreaded "curse of the former Avs" means that it's a sure thing that Andy shuts down the Avalanche on Thursday night.
